The Makita HR005GZ01 40v Max brushless rotary demolition hammer is part of the new XGT range of tools from Makita, combining innovative tool design and high output batteries to provide a real solution for high-demand industrial users.

The HR005GZ01 has an SDS-Max shank and delivers an impressive 8.0 joules per blow, making it capable of drilling solid holes up to 40mm and core drilling up to 105mm in concrete. Built-in technology includes AWS (auto-start wireless system) for Bluetooth connectivity to compatible dust extractors, AFT (active feedback sensing technology) that protects the user by shutting down the tool if rotation suddenly stops and AVT (anti-vibration technology) for reduced operator fatigue.

The HR005GZ01 has a 2-mode operation, rotary hammer for drilling masonry and rotary only for chiselling and hacking off. Other features include variable speed trigger with soft start, constant speed control that increases the power to the motor depending upon load and a soft-no-load function that reduces motor speed during idling to suppress vibration.
